# E-Mail

The E-mail action will send an E-mail to the specified recipient. The E-mail subject and body can be enriched with data from the current sample from the data source, which was used in the condition that triggered the action. 

The [templating syntax](/akenza.io/get-started/reference/message-templating.md) can be used to include properties of the data sample in the e-mail subject or body.
